Severe pre-eclampsia is a serious obstetric pathology. The resulting maternal and fetal
complications require a thorough knowledge of this pathology, a rigorous monitoring of
pregnancies, especially in primiparous women during prenatal consultations, and a fruitful
collaboration between the obstetrician and theanesthetist.
