Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) in its severe form is the most dreaded complication of
ovulation induction techniques. This is a rare, unpredictable and totallyiatrogenic complication of
IVF. Although a symbol of scientificprogress in the field of infertility, IVF could cause considerable
damage and sometimesbe fatal.
