In contemporary society, people like to enrich traditional life with traditional culture. As an
important part of China's traditional culture, the zodiac is becoming more and more popular.
Zodiac modern handicrafts combine ancient Chinese zodiac culture with modern craftsmanship. It
inherited the classical culture and added color to people's lives, so it won everyone's favorite and
competing to purchase. This paper combines the market demand and trends, the use of AutoCAD,
MasterCAM and other software and laser cutting and other modern processing technology,
designed and produced a set of zodiac crafts. At the same time, the paper gives important
suggestions in improving the use level of the Chinese zodiac in traditional crafts. In the way, we can
promote the development of China's traditional technology at a higher level.
